Vtuber(戸定梨香)に対するネガティブキャンペーンでは、彼女がまるで大量生産された男尊女卑アニメ作品のように扱われてしまっています。

しかし実際には、VTuberコンテンツはその個人によって作成・コントロールされており（中略）実態は若い女性です。どのように表現するかは、彼女の自由です。

戸定自身は世界中からの（抗議署名による）支持をうけており、この論争において明らかに勝者です。

また上記の複数サイトでは、フェミ議連の主張が、女性の多様性を支持するフェミニズムの価値観と矛盾する点、LGBTコミュニティーのメンバーの権利の否定である点、その容姿を「性的対象」と短絡的に結論づける問題点について取り上げています。
海外メディアが報じる人権感覚、フェミニズムに対する考え方と、フェミ議連の今回の行動との間には乖離があると言えるでしょう。
